The Value Safari and Leisure Vacation Tour is a 12 day tour. We have chosen more affordable destinations, but have not compromised when it comes to quality.
On arrival you will recuperate at the Airport Grande before your airplane journey to The Bushveld.
Get your camera ready... Big 5 viewing are plentiful around Kapama's River Lodge and Spa and Thorny Bush Game Lodge.
During the leisure part of your tour you will be staying in Cape Town at the trendy, yet historical The Portswood Hotel. In Cape Town you will enjoy your own private tours of the area on a daily basis.
The following is a suggested itinerary, which can be tailored to suit your needs.
| Day 1: |
Arrive at Johannesburg International Airport, take a short ride to The Airport Grande Hotel, and check-in overnight. |
| Day 2: |
Take an early morning transfer to Johannesburg International Airport and board your flight to Eastgate Airport. A 10 minute ride will bring you to Kapama’s River Lodge. |
| Day 3 - 4: |
Enjoy your daily game drives, with an option to visit Kapama’s Wellness Centre by day and the many dining options at night |
| Day 5: |
Take a transfer to Thornybush Game Lodge and check in. |
| Day 6 - 7: |
Enjoy game drives and walks by day and fireside dining and socializing by night at Thornybush Nature Reserve. |
| Day 8: |
Catch an early morning transfer to Eastgate Airport and board you flight to Johannesburg International. Board another flight to Cape Town International Airport. Take a transfer to The Portswood Hotel, which is situated within walking distance to The Victoria and Alfred Waterfront, Cape Town’s premium tourist attraction. |
| Day 9: |
Take a half day City Tour in the morning and enjoy your afternoon at leisure. Make a choice of many restaurants and activities in your vicinity, and then retire to The Portswood hotel room after a day’s hard play. |
| Day 10: |
Take a full day Cape Point Tour and retire at The Portswood for the night. |
| Day 11: |
Take a full day Winelands Tour and retire at The Portswood for the night. |
| Day 12: |
A final morning’s leisure will end your stay in Cape Town. Transfer to Cape Town International and board your flight to Johannesburg International Airport. Board your flight back home. |
